Daring Duncan

Brute Squad, Powder Monkey

When Duncan was expelled from the Youngster's School of Piracy for "wrestling behavior unbecoming a pirate" after only two semesters, the family became concerned about his fitness for the family business. With this in mind, the family enrolled him in the Sweetheart School for Cherubic Children. That was an unmitigated disaster. Duncan's science fair project, entitled "The Oxymoron 'Angelic Child'", resulted in the perminant admission of several faculty to mental hospitals. He was subsequently enrolled in the Bedlam Reformatory for Chronically Criminal Boys in Siberia, but was ejected from that institution after leading a student uprising that gained control of the school for three weeks. This display of leadership and intiative so excited the family that they were quite willing to reimburse the Soviet Union for the expenses incurred by the Crimson Guard while restoring order. Thereafter, his education became more informal and much more difficult to track. It is believed that he lived with a pack of Tasmanian Devils for a period. Also, there are reliable reports of his presence in Mongul hordes attacking China. The family reestablished contact with Duncan in Transylvania, when the Count of that country (a known confidant of Duncan's), suggested that his education was complete.

The extent of Duncan's involvement in family treasure hunts in unknown, but the fear of his distinctive battle cry, "You wanna piece o' me?!", has kept many would-be pirate competitors at bay.

Jack is the youngest member of the Family Expert Treasure Hunters group and although he has yet to do anything beyond coo and poo, we have high expectations. His parents; Dr. David Bones and Kara, Princess of Duchesne; report behavior that indicates he may sink to hitherto unknown depths of mayham and debauchery. We can only hope.
